stevie, you got sick because you are not getting the proper amount of alcohol intake in your system. I havent had the flu even once since I was 18 (Im 37 now). and I almost never get so much as a cold. (maybe half a dozen in that same time period).

Thats great advice, but I've had plent of alcohol pre-flu, and my immune system still took a beating. I do know that liquor kills canker sores though

glad you're recovered & beat the bug!

my husband was telling me that "they" say the flu has arrived earlier this year & is nastier than ever. in our county this time last year there were 5 cases of the flu; this year there is already 187 reported cases.

oh & i was cleaning up my other hard drive yesterday & ran across this pic. seems as good as any other thread to post it in. (i hope)
