stevie, you got sick because you are not getting the proper amount of alcohol intake in your system. I havent had the flu even once since I was 18 (Im 37 now). and I almost never get so much as a cold. (maybe half a dozen in that same time period).
remember, germs cant survive in an alcohol stream
