ECN is an Engineering Change Notice, ie it details a hardware "fix" to
cure a particular problem, or potential problem, or just to improve
performance, reduce cost, replace obsolescent component, whatever.
These are created by the designer of the hardware.
Most likely if the processor is under the "Recommended Speeds" list (your 2500+ is) you shouldn't have a problem.
