yeap. sorry if i wasn't clear.
The thing is,if a set of files freezes it, close out, reboot, drop in a new dvd etc. and when i try burning the same files again, it stops at pretty much the exact same place regarding the burning progress. I can again close out, reboot, and drop in a new dvd, and burn the same batch of data, and itll freeze again yielding a frozen nero burn screen, a non-repsonsive dvd drive, and when going into mycomputer to view the properites of the dvd being burned, it comes up as a blank dvd.
When I said that it happens 25% of the time I meant 25% of all the DIFFERENT data I've burned Has been problematic. It freezes 100% at the same progress spot if i retry a batch of files that freezes the burner ona new dvd.
Hopefully that clears things up.
I still cant fathom how the type of data be it corrupt or not would freeze up the drive. Yet, it repeatably freezes on the same files. BTW, I burn as data, not as music files or anything.
