Hey.
I have a3500+amd athlon 64.1gig ram.7200rpm serial ata.
I have a nero v. 6.3.1.6 ultra edition.
I have 16x dvd burner. came bundled w/the HP I got.

I was ripping some files but it consistently freezes at 45%

I had to force close nero. From there, i could not open my drive. I tried lookin at it under my cmoputer, but it comes up empty for the drive in question. I have to reboot in order to gain control back again.

I've had this issue before burning other files where it continually froze at a set % after trying to burn the same file over.

I could understand if it's hardware since i lose control to my dirve altogether, but for half the files i burn, it works.

Plus it may be a software issue since it's repeatable down to freezing at a % +/- 2%. This is consistent when i try to burn the set group of files after rebooting and using another disc.

Any ideas?
