edit: I see someone mentioned this in the pre-load thread, so a mod can delete this if they feel it necessay, but I'm of the mind that news of this magnitude deserves its own thread

edit 2: The site seems to be down or really slow due to everyone on the intarweb looking at the post, so alot of sites have gotten screenshots of the post, I.e.: HalfLife2.net
