Firearm Names
Well, I saw a post for what peoples swords are named, so I would like to find out what you guys have named your fireams. My AR-15 is named Alyssa. My Glock 17 is named Tonya. And my sniper/hunting rifle hasnt named herself yet. (Yes it may be pointless, but my guns mean more to me than any girl I have been with. Yeah, Im pathetic.)

The only thing of mine that has a name is "Mr. Happy" and that wasn't really my doing.
|
i used to call my old 12ga WW - waterfowl whitter-maker :D
|
Naming guns? Hunh? Only tool-type thing I ever named was a car I had in High School, and it didn't get a name so much as it got a title ("Il Duche"). I really don't see naming a gun. I'm not that emotionally attached to them. They're tools, nothing more.

A cousin of mine has a high-power rifle, I can't remember what type it is, but he calls it "The Hamburger Maker." The name is not much of an exaggeration.

haha, well ill tell you i have heard of this before and most people go with the old what i want is woman, so gun names are femine and usually sexual, or slutty names
|
The names I have for my guns are pretty unoriginal: The Marlin, The Henry, the 'Ought six, the Swede, etc...I actually haven't ever given much thought to naming my firearms. I'll have to think of some better names.

A friend of mine had a break action shotgun named "Kurt".

Hmm... Got an old 12gauge, blackpowder, break action shotgun with hammers called Sarah. A Sauer 200STR 6,5*55 called Ralph. and then theres my M1 US Carbine (Inland Div.) called Karina... :)
