Explorer freezes continuously..
 

Not Internet explorer, but windows explorer itself. The taskbar / desktop both freeze after about 5-10 seconds on a reboot. I can then alt ctrl delete and kill the explorer.exe and then run it, only to have it freeze again after 5-10 seconds. I've tried rebooting and nothing seems to help. I didn't change anything or do anything that could have caused this either. :confused:

I remember having this same problem on my old machine---believe I went to Microsoft and downloaded a patch that solved the problem...you will probably have to get into safe mode to get it done..VG

sounds a lot like spy/malware to me. safemode and run spybot and adaware.
