Bought a Concert on DVD and would like to burn some songs onto CD-R, can't figure it out.
Any suggestions? :|

Well, first you need something to rip the DVD, then separate the audio from the video.

I'm sure I'm pushing my luck, but does anyone know of a Mac-compatable solution?

redlemon: I was able to find MacTheRipper at http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/22715

Give that a whirl. Its based on the open source libdvdread and libdvdcss libraries, so it might fit the bill.

Use Audacity - it's open source, works on Windows, Linux and Mac OSX, and is very very good.

I run the headphone line into the mic socket - play with the settings to get it right and then play the DVD - recrd it as MP3 and use Audacity to edit out the gaps.

Cost = free.

Results = as good as your equipmnt allows.

Could be, I'll have to check the manual on that to see if it can extract audio.

I use Audacity already, nice tool. I was hoping to avoid it in this case, since my DVD player is 2 floors away from my Mac. Hmm, perhaps Audio Hijack Pro, then Audacity...
