Firefox Problem
For some reason, no javascript popup seems to be working anymore. Everytime I click on a javascript popup link, nothing happens at all. There is also no option for "Open Link in New Tab"
WindowsXP Professional Firefox 1.02 with TabBrowser Extension, the latest version (which has like a gillion numbers after it). |
Nevermind, figured out the problem. It seems the recent version (1.14) of TabbrowserExtensions does not agree too well with Javascript. Recommend to other users to avoid the upgrade to the newer TabbrowserExtensions.

Can you disable "pop up blocker" or try holding 'Ctrl" key when opening the window?
|
That wasn't the problem. It was the Tabbrowser Extension upgrade that caused JavaScript to fail.

Tabbrowser Extensions is a pretty problematic extension; it does so much, that any little tweak often causes everything to break. I've switched over to a combination of 4 or 5 smaller extensions that handle the elements of TBE that I wanted. Or, there's a new one called Tab Mix, which tries to be all-in-one without the code problems of TBE.
If you let me know what you use in TBE, I can give some suggestions for extension replacements. Or, if you feel self-sufficient today, read the thread Rebuilding TBE's featureset with other plugins, III - MozillaZine Forums. |
