is there a program that will...
I'm looking for a program that will sync certain folders on two different drives. Basically I need it to automatically update the backup whenever I update the original. Is there a program that can do this? Thanks

There's an app called SureSync that does just that. I've got it running on a few different servers and it works like a champ.
There's also another program called BeyondCompare (they have a trial version you can use) that does that, I'm not 100 percent sure if it does automatic syncing...

Get rsync.
It will work with Windows, UNIX, or just about any OS out on the market and it's free. If you're using Windows, you'll need to download Cygwin too. Even has SSH code built in for tin-foil-hat wearing people. It is a command-line tool that you could run from Windows Scheduled Tasks (I've implemented it on one of our Windows servers at work), but I'm sure there might be a graphical interface so that you can at least be using the right command-line options lying somewhere on the Internet.

I like SyncBack from 2BrightSparks. It's freeware.
