Like everyone else.. on the bottom, but i like to have mine auto hide... i don't need to see that stuff ALL the time.

Bottom on my secondary moniter. Unhidden. Doesnt bother me have plenty of desktop space nothing on my primary all junk thrown on secondary.

At the bottom, always on top, no autohide for both Linux and Winders. In Windows, I have it sized to two rows (I have have two rows of apps running). In RedHat I have the size set to X Small.

i myself have winxp.. but i use litestep shell and customize my bar... there's just a shortcut to all the programs i use so there's no need for the start bar anymore..

On all the computers around the house on the bottom visible all the time.

On the bottom were I can see my Firewall all the time !

windows xp: on the bottom, two rows high. First row holds all the open programs, bottom row holds links and an IE address bar.
Screen real estate's not a drama when you've got 2 monitors... woo. |
