Saving a macromedia game
My kids really like a .swf game and I was wondering if I can save it to my hard drive so they can play while offline.
Is there a way to play a flash game while not online? Thanks.. Here's the game they like.. http://www.miniclip.com/gamefiles0304/redbeard.swf

Yup, haha has it right, Just let the game load as you normally would, then go to:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERID\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files and look for the file with a .swf extension. It might be easier to sort by size first and then just check out the larger files. Then, just copy the file to wherever you need to keep it. Now just go File->Open->Browse and locate the file. Voila... Peace, Pierre ps. I'm assuming you're on a windoze computer, if you're using GNU/Linux, the directory structure will be different. If that's the case, post that and I'll give you other isntructions...

If you're using Firefox, all you have to do is: Tools > Page Info > Media > Find the file ending in .swf > Save as.
Then you can play it using a flash player. Swiff Player
