Disabling Keyboard Shortcuts in XP?
I've got Windows XP Pro and I am having a helluva time figuring this out. I have tried googling and searching MSKB, but still no luck..
All I want to do is disable the damn keyboard shortcuts. I have games and other applications where I must hold the windows key and push letters to activate certain things, and the freaking applications keep opening up in the background. I tried looking through the Services in Admin Tools, tried turning it off through Accessibility... no fricken luck. Does anybody know how to completely disable this in Windows XP? |
this MIGHT help some
install tweakui powertoy(search MS site) (make sure to get the XP one, the older one is a bitch to get off your computer if you install it in XP) in the options tree, it's on 'explorer' uncheck "enable windows+X hotkeys" unfortunately the tooltip for this check box says it won't disable all the hotkeys. |
