Can't boot up in Safe Mode
I'm running Windows 2000, and whenever I try to boot up in safe mode (using F8), it will load up a black screen listing a bunch of "partition"s, and it will freeze on that screen. Is there any way for me to fix this? Please help! Thx!

if this is a hard disk partition related issues depends on what file system you are running to get a good solution in place.
if its fat32 , its much easier to diagnose and repair if its ntfs u can only do a chkdsk /f perhaps from recovery console or perhaps if you have the resources use a winternals bootdisk (CDISO) and then tinker about. without an exact error i cant be of any more help |
