Non-Winamp and MusicMatch Players
 

I did a quick search on the board and nothing seemed to come up, I could have maybe searched for the wrong stuff...anywho...


my roommate is looking for a player that isn't windows media (everyone should hate windows media), winamp and musicmatch. these are the most popular ones I know of. I've tried all three, I prefer winamp, I think its the best, but he has his reasons for why he doesnt like it. he's just looking for something that's not going to slaughter sound quality on headphones and will play cds/mp3s and hopefully not be as slow as windows media. any suggestions? thanks in advance.

I don't personally know it, but a lot of people swear by iTunes. You should check it out.

I usually use winamp, so I can't vouch for these, although I have used the Core media player, and it seemed ok.

I personally use iTunes as well and think it's great - had no problems with it and have been using it since it came out. ch-ch-check it all out - wh-wh-whats it all about - turn this mother out

My favorite is the Quintessential Player ( quinnware ) , although I changed the ugly original skin right after installing :thumbsup:

iTunes man. No explanation needed. It's just iTunes.
