Monitor advice
so I'm in the game for a new monitor but the catch is, I don't really want to spend a whole lot. I understand the "what you pay for is what you get" deal but I know there are some really quality monitors for prices under 130-140. The problem is, I don't know what's a good horizontal/vertical dot pitch or good manufacturers, if anyone has any recommendations they would be grealty appreciated, all i've really looked at thus far is the stuff on newegg and you can only tell so much from the feedback. thanks a lot guys.

In my opinion there are three top manufacturers: Eizo, Iiyama and Sony. But, there are major quality differences between top and low-end models from each one. You are probably looking for the best price/quality monitor.
My advice is to seek out some models for the price you are willing to spend on it and search the internet for reviews This site may be interesting: http://graphics.tomshardware.com/display/index.html
