Best Photoshop Plug-ins/Filters.

Im no super user, but Ive been playing with Photoshop for years now. Yesterday I was looking around the net & d-loaded a few plug-ins. When I got them installed & played with them for a while I realised they were all crap.

So my question to you good people is what photoshop plug-ins are good? What do you use?

If this is in the wrong place please forgive.

Good Thread, plugins are fun ;)

i'll just post some links to companies that make most of the general commonly used and loved ones.

AutoFX

FlamingPear

Kai's Power Tools - no link, were made by procreate who was then bought by corel, but i cannot seem to find the website now, all that google finds doesnt work. these are some of the best plugins imo.

Extensis Intellihance Pro is another classic good one that i cannot seem to find a working link to.

so yeah. between all of those, you can do lots of cool things.

:)

How about none :p :D

Seriously, IMO...this shit is cheesy. Sorry, had to be blunt. Aside from a handfull of filters that can be used tastefully, everything some of these programs do, you can do by hand...and do it better.:icare:

I dont agree Jonny. As I said the ones that I originally came across were crap & I could probably do most of that without the help of a filter (eg. Nightvision filter, absolute crap). Its the handfull of filters that can be used tastefully that Im looking for.

newbies tend to overdo it with plugins.

the most useful plugins i use are those meant for photography manipulation.

check out NIK plugins, http://www.nikmultimedia.com/usa/pro...products.shtml

and AUTOFX has a couple good ones as well, http://www.autofx.com/
