Droid X swype/text dictionary question
So this is generally the first place i go to after a thorough google session has ended without giving me any answers.
I have a Droid X provided to me by my work as my cell phone and I really love it. My biggest problem is that when I'm inputting text (i use swype) the word order it gives me for words is sometimes terrible and has caused a couple of problems recently with simple words. I sent an email to a co-worker and used the word past and i swyped it correctly. For some reason swyping past brought out pussy first in the word order, i didn't check it because past and pussy arent generally close to each other and didn't think about it at the time. Once I got an email back from him i had to what had happened and luckily we had a good chuckle. If this happens with a boss or client i may be in bigger trouble though. So the TL;DR question is: Is there a way to change the word order that swype brings up words in? Or is there a way to clear the swype history and go back to square one and start over with the word history? Thanks guys you always give me great advice! ![]()

I'm not sure about changing the word order but you can delete words from the dictionary. Highlight the word, press the swype key and then backspace and it should remove it from teh dictionary.
You could also look here, there are a lot of resources on this forum Android Forums |
