Microsoft Notepad
I am running office 2003 and recently I have been receiving documents that i am unable to open. It seems they are in "Notepad" formate. I am familiar with Word and Excell but not Notepad. I have googled it, but still unable to find out anything or how to download it if I need to.
I know someone here has the correct answer, so what do I need to do to be able to open something that is in Notepad format. Thanks in advance of helping me out. |

Are these documents by chance in .docx format? If they are, check this out:

Baraka is probably right. They're most likely .docx files which are Office 2007 and forward. That link will help you if that's the case.
