photo printing
I just bought a new printer(lexmarkPro805) and I decided to print some photos for everyone for xmas. The printer does not come with the basic photoprinting software.
I must have done too much overtime last week because I can't think for the life of me how to print a correct photo on a 4x6. I know how to load the paper, I know how to take pictures and I know USUALLY how to print photos. The problem is that since I got windows 7, all my regular programs disappeared with vista. These were non-legit programs And I would love to stick the free/open source versions if possible now. What PROGRAMS do you recommend to simply crop and print photos without fucking up the colours? 4x6 borderless. ![]()

You can always try GIMP. It's a free image editor akin to Photoshop. There is also this online image editor.
I'm a little confused by your last sentence. You want to print a 4x6 borderless print on a standard 8.5x11 page? That's not possible unless you're using 4x6 photo paper.

No, my printer is a full 8 1/2 X 11 printer with the possibility of doing 4x6 with the correct paper.
I am looking for a program that can work WITH the printer in how to print. GIMP didn't do the job at all! printing a 4x6 formated with GIMP and with the PRINTER still failed and gave me 1 picture on 3 page(4x6). Imagine if you just got a printer and you put wanted to print a picture. What software would you use if the printer didn't come with one?
