My computer's name is cardboard....heh i called it that because when i first got all of my parts, i couldn't afford a case....so i made a wonderful cardboard box into a case. :-) it was really cool....and thus the name stuck....i still can't afford a case, so i just grab the hand-me-downs that my brother gives me :-)

Each person in the house has their own computer (desktop or laptop) with their own name as the computer name.
Otherwise: Fileserver = Ravenclaw Extra Storage/Backup = Griffindor Mail Server = Hufflepuff Catching on with the Harry Potter? 6 machines total... Gonna need 1 more box to complete Harry Potter! |

Computer names? Pretty boring: dell, dellp, and laptop.
Now hard drives? That's a different story. My laptop's drive has always been called "Bob the Dog". Why? I can't remember. But I'm currently typing from the safe confines of "Bob the Dog X". He's number 10 in a long line....

Yay! I thought I was the only person in the world who named her computer. I have a Sony Vaio laptop, so she needed a Japanese name. I named her Keiko, after Keiko Abe, one of the greatest performers and composers for the marimba that ever lived.
Ex roommate used to call her laptop "the little bastard."
