Pricewar on broadband in Sweden.
A couple of weeks ago an ISP called Bredbandsbolaget offerd a 10Mbit ADSL sevice for 399sek(=50$)/month, today a competiting ISP BoStream offers a 26MBit ADSL service at 395sek, I didn't even know that ADSL went that high. This should be compared to the ADSL which I'm writing this from which is 0,5Mbit at 375SEK.
Should I stay with my current connection or pay the extra 20SEK(=2,5$) and get the new connection? :D  :p |
I can't really answer the question but you should really ask people you know who are using these other services. If you think they are too good to be true then they probally are. Make sure you know what your getting into, Don't get into any long term contracts, and if you do make sure you know someone using the service will recommend it. If you can switch and switch back in 1-2 months then I say try it, if not stay where you're at.

I would make sure that those are not the rate for a limited time. One company in my area is running a deal where you pay the same rate as dial-up ($20/month) for 3 months for DSL but then it goes up to about $50/month after those initial 3 months.
Give the companies a call and find out if they are pulling something like this. |
if u think they're reliable, go for it

Nope, I'm pretty sure this is the real thing. Anyway they are starting up the 26Mb sevice where I live in two months and in two other cities are already connected so if there are problems I'll hear about it before I can order mine. That will be a great autumn. |
Can I move to sweden?
