Help with Fantasy Basketball Trade
I'm thinking about trading this guy for AI and he needs a PG and I have Kidd.
But is it worth it? These are my PGs without Kidd: Tony Parker Ronald Murray These are my SGs without Iverson: Corey Maggette Mike Dunleavy Thanks. |

kidd gets a lot of assisnts in games. if u are comfy in assits w/o kidd, go for it. ai gets points and steals pretty consistenty.
tony parker doesnt play, so u might need to pick up a PG. AI doesnt play PG.

Well Parker isn't playing cause he's injured right now...
Iverson gets about the same amount of assists as Kidd, maybe a little less, but about 5 fewer rebounds, but for rebounds I have: Drew Gooden Pau Gasol Tyson Chandler Brad Miller Zach Randolph Carlos Boozer Vladimir Radmonovic |

it really depends on your scoring, steals, and assists need. if you need to bring in more points, then grab AI...but as everyone has said, you'll take a hit in the assists department. personally id keep kidd...he'll bring in double digits in points every night, along with 7 or 8 assists. you've already got maggette, who's turning out to be a damn good scorer (almost as good as iverson).

You've also got to keep in mind the shooting percentage (if it counts in your league). AI will take the lion's share of the shots in Philly, so if his poor shooting percentage will drag you down, I would keep Kidd.

Jason Kidd stuffs the stat sheet. He was my first pick and the only untouchable on my roster. There are a lot of point scorers out there, few great point guards. Keep Kidd.

You also have to be careful because Murray's stats are gonna drop when Ray Allen comes back around Xmas, and this is the same guy that shot 35% from the floor all last season. Iverson may get the same number of assists as Kidd now, but it's early in the season and won't stay that way. I think you are in better shape at SG than at point and would pass on this trade.
TP is still young and can show his immaturity on the court at times with his inconsistent play, and then the minutes problem with Murray in a month or so. At the 2 you've got two guys that could really step up and post some good numbers across the board for you. Dunleavy's a stud in the making and the only stats he won't help in is probalby blocks and steals. Maggette is going to put up points for you as well, and maybe deent rebound numbers for a guard.
