I'm not much for the dance. I'd rather watch the women kick butt in hockey. But as far as the outfits go, I liked alot of them and if I were a skater I would wear them. But then I have the bod to pull it off so I'm fine with that.

I was wrong.... again.

I watched the dancing again the other day... When I studied it more closely, the women have suits complete with flesh coloured bits. In some cases these even cover their boots.

That seems more reasonable. Slightly more covering and some (albeit minor) protection for their skin if they fall/slide.

But they sure looked semi-naked from a distance. Interestingly, the camera operators appear to be carefully zooming out - not only when the skaters pick up speed, but also when they do "revealing" moves.
