Shaving Below The Belt
The forest is getting a little thick so I think I want trim it down. Plus I think clean up after sex, masturbation, etc. would be much simpler and easier. I have never attempted such delicate surgery. How, what, when where, etc. Thanks for any help and or suggestions in this matter

Use a good post-shave healer. Don't do it to often. I shaved two days in a row early last week, and it still looks like damage from a shotgun blast. Also, soaking the area in really hot water whether in a bath or witha hot towel will soften the hair and let it absorb shaving cream better. The best brand of cream is Neutrogena, the kind I use is in a white can with gray and blue on it. If I had waited another day and gotten another can instead of using whatever was around, I wouldn't have my current problem. For post-shave, it's expensive, but Clinique for men post-shave healer is great.
EDIT: How could I forget, BRNAD NEW RAZOR EACH TIME! |

There were many posts on threads regarding this on the old board. We really need a standard 'frequent threads' for things like this.
Basic answer, some use razors some use electric shavers like those for hair others just trim with scissors and some pull. Personally I go for the full combo, electric cutter to keep things down in high density areas, razor for those areas that are good to keep really smooth, and pull the ones that are annoying growing near the penis.

So I did it. I got started and said screw it and I went completely bald. I looks a little weird the first time but I think it will grow on me (I just realized what I typed, sorry.......) There is one very distinct and unexpected advantage to going bald: ball sac smell is history. Thanks for all the tips and suggestions.

This is how I go about it, but I may have tougher skin that the avg person - I dont get razor burn easily. I use Mach 3 Turbo
I shave when I'm in the shower, no shaving cream, just constantly running hot water. First I prepare the skin with Dove bar soap - helps the razor and your own skin slide along. I start with running against the grain on the shaft and the patch above it. Then I go with the grain the legs. On the sack, by this time it's now fairly loose (not wrinkled) and I can go against the grain without snagging any skin When I'm all clean, I just run the bar soap over my bits because it just feels damn good. Ahh what a beautiful feeling. If you're ever staying at my house, request a separate bar of soap.

I agree with all regarding the Mach 3, best way to go. Here's my discovery though... use the ladies' shaving gel. WAY better than regular shaving cream when it comes to the tender bits.
I shave every 2-3 days. In addition to feeling silky smooth for yourself, the wife/gf is much more willing to give some mouth action if its hairless and odorless down below. |

I prefer the electric razor for the goodies. I use a setting of two around the base and either go to the skin or one on the sac. If you put some conditioner on it right after you shave it helps keep the burn away and it feels damn good. If the burn gets to you get yourself some goldbond(only the powder) that stuff is amazing.

Don't be discouraged by your first shaving experience. The first time likely won't end up as nice as you desire. But a few more shaves along the road and your skin will be more accustomed to the blade, and you won't be suffering from any razor burn or anything.

The trick with the razor areas is to use one that you've already used on your face once or twice. Something about the used blades make things go much smoother...
For the general trim areas I use a #2 gaurd on hair clippers. Razor on shaft and ballz. GOOOOOOO TEAM!!!!!!!!

get one of those ladies razors that has the little wires over the blades, its called silk effects i believe, ive been using it for over a year, never even nicked my sack. also curel makes some post shave lotion that is intended to make hair more sparse and softer when it grows back, ive been using it since early feburary and my nut hair is much softer and easier to shave.its called Smooth Legs and technically is a shave minimizing moisturizer.

I've done it before, but won't do it again. The sweat produced down there is meant to combine with hair. Without the fuzziness, my sac sticks to my legs like NOTHING ELSE. it is such a pain in the ass. If you really wanted to, you could trim the sac hair and pubes, but leave the hair inbetween your legs and cock-tal area

I've done it a few times before but it was too much upkeep for an unappreciative girlfriend. Now I just use a trimmer on one of the low settings once a week.
Quick question. Has anyone ever used an electric razor, not trimmer, down there? Like a flathead electric razor (not one with the three circles) that you'd use on your face. I've considered it, but it's a little too intimidating. However it gets my face extremely smooth, why wouldn't it work wonders on my balls?

Mach 3 Turbo is the way to go, as is the new Gillette gel (I'm not a company man, I swear). I think they should put out an add just for that. Imagine those 3 space chicks lathering the guy up, shaving his privates, then the guy wakes up spent in his bathroom with that silver lipstick all over his cock n' balls... Yeah, I should be in marketing.

Electric razor on gonads= evil satan blood pain.
trust me........ Agreed with most of above, use a good sharp razor and lots and lots of sensitive skin shaving cream. Bald willy and nookie= awesome fun good sex. worth the work, esp. if your significant other does it as well.

I am sorry if this is a stupid question but would it help to shave whilst erect? Making the skin a little more taut and less "baggy?" Just wondering.

MACH 3 TURBO- 'nuff said. Also, get some good "sensitive skin" shaving gel. I usually find that I start without an erection, but I can only handle the shit for so long before, well, I react.
As for the guy worried about his friends eyeing his nards in the shower- they come off with any bullshit, you tell them there's no way they get as much head as you do, and all because it's shaved. That'll shut them up. |

As for the risk of infection with tweezing... Just make sure the skin and tweezers are clean, and if it starts looking irritated, put some polysporin on it or something.
