I keep telling my wife that it would be cool to get the video-cam out and film ourself having sex. It would be a good thing to watch rather than the fake porno movies and a souvenir for the years to come when we are a little older!

Have you ever filmed yourself having sex? If yes, do you watch it often?

I have. It is a very very very...enlightening experience. Just remember that you aren't a pornstar and neither is your gf, regardless of how hot you are. I hope you have a good experience with it, but it has it's pitfalls. I'm not saying don't do it, but when we did it we both wanted to erase it right away, as it was very unflattering to watch yourself pumping your hairy butt into your partner. IMO it's much better to right on top of the action, so perhaps you should hold the cam tho

Also make sure you get good camera angles....45 degrees, facing the foot of the bed from across the room on a tripod, is a bad angle. Trust me.

This is something the wife and I have talked about. We would, but she is so self consious that she won't until she looses a little. I think it would be great.

I honestly don't think I could watch such a thing. I'm sure a viewing of said tape would sound something like, "Oh my god. Is THAT what I look like? Is that what WE look like? We're never doing that again...."

My last apartment had two huge mirror closet doors that faced each other. It was cool because it created that trippy infinity affect. I convinced a girl I was dating to have sex in that hallway so we could watch ourselves go at it. She really dug it because she felt like a porn star. I have to admit, it was pretty friggin awesome. No video tape, just a living reflection. I may go for the video taping thing someday. It would definitely have to be gonzo style though.

We've used strategically placed mirrors before. My wife likes to be able to watch the penetration. Never had the opportunity to tape ourselves, no camcorder.

hmm havent done the whole video taping bit, but I think it would be much better to just use mirrors and reflections than an actual tape. That way you aren't just watching yourselves having sex with no other stimulation, but you feel it as you watch it.. Usually in that state of mind you care less and less what you look like. Its cool but takes some work to make it come out right. The guy pretty much has to hold the camera, and you want to have good lighting. If you're going for a real porno effect you have to have the $$$ shot, at least I think so. Its hard to hold the camera, keep the action in the frame, and do the deed without losing your balance at the same time so get her to help out as much as she can.

I watch our videos all the time, I think they're hot. My wife doesn't like how she looks sometimes but she's into it too. Who cares if you don't look like a porn star, have fun with it.

Me last gf and I would use mirrors. I have one on the back of a dresser that I just need to tip up a few degrees and it works great. We used hand mirrors too. What you don't want to do, unlike my good friend, is after being out drinking throw the tape in unannounced to show off for your buddy. It works on Digicams as well. As long as she doesn't take pics right after a format they're still there. Enjoy, and hide them this time. :P
