anybody know how these things are done? like in hustler for instance...do they just pose the dood and chick in mid-penetration and have them hold it for the camera? or is the photographer actually shooting a live bang session? always wondered about this...halx? anyone in the industry know?

It depends. Most of the ones you see on the TB and the like are posed, meaning they hold it until the photographer is happy with the picture. But there also are shoots where pictures are just taken throughout intercourse. This is usually the case when there is also a video being made.

I always wondered if a documentary-like video has ever been made of a photo shoot. I've always been curious about the backstage stuff. Does anyone know if there's one out there?

I can explain it later, since I'm in the industry. But I'm busy right now. In short, there is action going on all the time, but they stop and pose for most of the shots.

I always wondered this too... That has got to be hard, you're going good and it feels good and then the photographers wants you to stop and change angles... That is where the job part comes in I suppose.

I can't speak for all shoots, as each photographer has his own way of doing things. I can speak for the shoots I have taken, and the shoots I have been a part of.

In both of the above cases it is posed. you start with a list of shots and angles that you want based on who you are selling the photos too. each editor likes, and pics different things, so you target your shoot to your potential client.

it is a rough deal to be the male model for the shoot. the last one I did was a double shoot. the photographer, though good, was slow, and VERY methodical about his shots. so each shoot lasted 3 hours. there was no money shot in the first one. the final shot was posed, and the "good stuff" was shopped into by the magazine (Score).

however at the end of the second, the money shot was real. but by the time 6 hours had passed keeping an erection, it felt good to get it out, but my nuts hurt for an entire day.

but yeah as to the question each shot was posed and taken from many different angles. in between shots we had fun in an attempt to keep the erection alive.

6 hours? Damn... I'm going to have to rethink my ideal career decision. :)

Viagra really does not work well for me. it just gives me a little chubby. so the chubby was assisted, the raging hard on had to be coaxed, but that made for an excuse to play between each picture being taken.

Are all female models so willing to "play" with you or are there some that only do what needs to be done?

I know that sounds like a stupid question, asking if there are frigid, uptight porn acresses.
