Generally, I don't care for parties to begin with, regardless of the theme, and I have no offline friends that would be up for this sort of thing. Two online friends live nearby who would almost certainly be interested, but we haven't met in person yet, one of them is moving to Wisconsin, and due to circumstances, seeing eachother naked would probably be ill-advised.
I would like to add that if circumstances were different and I were invited to such a party, I might choose to accept out of curiosity. Last edited by Cernunnos; 08-13-2008 at 04:12 PM.. |

I don't know... I'm not that surprised. My observation is that it breaks down along mostly single vs. married lines... not completely, of course, but it is a factor. If I were single, it would have a sizeable impact on how I viewed events like this.

I don't think I would a) get an invite to a party like this or b) have anyone to go with. I've been to parties where unplanned nakedness occured, but never planned. I'm not sure if hubby would be interested in something like this and I wouldn't go without him.

I find the people I'm friends with just off-putting enought that this would not be fun.
Those are the IRL folks. However, put me in the same room as several TFP folks, and not only would I attend, I'd pay $5 for a beer cup.

I'm in theatre. I saw more breasts in the first four months I spent not chasing tail in theatre then I did begging on the football team.
My penis has been seen by female cast members more times then paris hilton has been caught on video. I'm in theatre; hahaha this is my life everyday. And it was pretty much Sodom and Gomorrah at night all through high school/the past couple years.

For me, my spouse is not a conservative person--in fact, I may be the more conservative one, haha--but as a whole, we are conservative with our marriage because we are still young, still rather newly married, and still building the foundation for the rest of our lives together. We are not yet ready to endanger/test that just to have some fun seeing other dicks and titties, even if we might be just fine with it. In other words, it's really not that interesting to us as a couple right now, even though as single people our answers might have been different.

Hahaha. Well, and indeed, he might be... and I don't necessarily have a problem with myself going to something like this, either (as an individual). But that doesn't mean it would be a good idea for our marriage/relationship in general. Two individuals wanting to do something together doesn't mean that it's always a good idea for both of them, if that makes sense.

My best friend that I have known since we were four would love this kind of party. Shes my lil wild child/surrogate sister so we have seen each other nekked lots of times.
Me on the other hand...I'm not so sure I'd be very comfortable with this. Maybe if I ever get into the shape I'd like. The anything goes side of it...probably not. im2smrt4u and I have had a closed relationship the whole time and I don't think this would be the right time to experiment with that. If it was just casual maybe. LMAO ChillyWilly just told me that if she was in better shape shed go, "Cuz then I might get laid"!

I have a couple of friends who would come with me to a party like that, but I have many more who wouldn't. An interesting predicament.

If I were single, I'd be there in a heartbeat. Unfortunately my S/O would have a mental meltdown at the mere thought of being naked around a group of strangers, even though she proudly parades around the house in her birthday suit at every opportunity. As for friends, I can't think of a single one who wouldn't flip out if I invited them to a party of this nature, sexual mores about men being naked with other men as they are.
I'm not sure I'm enlightened enough to go to a naked party and not think of it as a sexual opportunity, though, and I'm afraid my manhood would give that fact away soon enough. Hell, when I was younger and single, I couldn't think of going to a normal "clothed" party without getting excited about the extra chance of having sex that night. Must be the cave man in me. |

I probably would and I have a few friends who would, but not many. I live in the South, so it comes with the territory that people are going to be a little conservative.
That said, I don't think anyone wants to see my pale naked ass. Edit: And punkmusicfan21, I know EXACTLY where you're coming from. Theatre kids 4 life.
