Are you attracted to older people????
 

OK, so I'm at the bank, and in front of me is this well dressed (business-like) woman. She was definitely in great shape, her legs were very shapely as was the rest of her. Anyhow, once I got a look at her face, it was obvious that she was older than me, probably in her 50's. Anyways, to put it nicely, I found her to be incredibly hot and wouldn't have hesitated to pursue an encounter if I weren't so attached to my wife.

Anyways, I was curious how many others of us TFP'rs felt the same way on occasion. Thoughts? Experiences?

I definitely prefer older guys. Curiously I also find younger women more attractive.

I've always been attracted to somewhat older women. I've never once in my life dated a girl who was younger than me (closest in age was 3 months older). I married someone about a year and a half older (not a big deal, but still counts :D ).

I would say that the majority of women I find REALLY attractive are 3-15 years older than me. I'm 28, fwiw.

I looooove older men. Shock of gray hair, maybe a couple of laugh lines.. rawr. I will never be able to explain why silver hair is such a turn-on, but there it is.

I'm not too concerned with age, apparently. Last girl I was seeing was seven years older than I am; my current gf is six years younger.

Sure, many older women are attractive ... I'm only 23, though, so that includes a vast range of beauty.

I think there are a lot of really beautiful older women. It would be inaccurate to say that I prefer older women (I don't have a strict age preference as long as she's at least 18), but I wouldn't be opposed to dating an older woman if I was single.

For reference purposes, I'm 30 years old and I consider "older" to basically be 40ish - 60ish.

I nearly had a affair with a married woman who was in her 40s when I was only 20. God damn it she was hot.

But yes, there's some mature ladies out there who managed to get this young boy excited hehehe.

Interestingly enough, although I'm only 24, I look like I'm about 33. So when I go out I often find women in their later 20's and early 30's having a crack at me, it ALWAYS falls down when they find out how young I am.

But I think in general, I like older girls

Oh, yeah, I definitely find older guys attractive. Harrison Ford, Patrick Stewart, Liam Neeson, Alan Rickman...just to name a few. I could go on. But I'm really just hoping that Shani will post some pics of hot older guys in kilts.

I'm starting to discover that older women are more enticing to me than the girls my own age. I'm not sure why. I'm 19, but I what really gets my attention are women that look gorgeous in their late 30's or early 40's. Beats me why I feel this way. Weird.

I have certainly found an attraction to older women. When I was 21 I dated a woman who was 24.

But it certainly isn't a necessity, the woman I'm engaged to is about a year and a half younger than me.

I have been on both extremes. I had a sexual relationship with a friend of mine's mom in highschool, she was 42 I think, and I was 17. My current wife is 28, and I am 39. I personally don't look too much at age as a restriction. You can't help who you are attracted to. Initial attraction is based on a more primative level I think.

I'm across the board on this one. Have only dated one girl younger than myself though. I now have a rule that I have to be able to go legally drinking with them.

In my twenties (I'm 35 now) I discovered how hot older women could be. I love women of all ages and types. I was 23 and dating a 38 year old who was definitely in her sexual prime! She was better than her daughter in every way, mentally, physically, and sexually. Also that year, a friend and I had a couple experiences with a classmate of mine's mom that was incredible.

Don't let age be an issue if someone is older. All in all, it's more of an issue for the older person than it is for the younger person. BTW, my wife is six years younger than me, and I can't wait for her to get into her mid 30's.:) (Please don't tell her that, she wants to stay 25, lol)

I'm attracted to who I'm attracted to. I wouldn't let age influence me at all (except in cases of legality, lol!).

Yep, older girls in that were way hotter in my opinion.

age doesn't matter to me, if the woman is hot then she's hot.

What keeps me more from actively dating older women is not that they're older, but if there's things like kids and crazy ex-husbands involved.

I love, love, love older men! There is just something about them that drives me wild. I've only dated men that are at least 10 years older than me once one was 21 years older. The youngest man I dated was only one year older than me and it was a short lived relationship.

Jetstream, that is something I'd watch. Just the promo shows so many aspects in the differences a couple of decades make in attitude, presentation of self, etc. The most telling thing in that promo was the 20-somethings projecting the idea that, merely based on their youth, they've got it all over the 40-somethings.

That's what I love about older women. You'll never here an older women say "I like to play hard to get" (my definition of older women is late 30's and beyond). If they're into you, they show it. No guessing games, just great sex, and you can talk about something other than how much you drank the night before, or how tough their college classes are.

Just for the record all, my definition of an older woman is 24+...

so I' in the same boat as willravel about now. But age is nothing but a rationilzer for some to not get involved in a relationship because of thoughts of immaturity, lack of connection, stamina, etc. ...

That TV show looks really interesting... but they obviously chose really hot older women (and god damn they're hot... I hope I look half that good when I get to that age. Hell I'd be glad to look half that good now)

i've just resorted to chopping my hair off entirely though.

anyways as far as the topic at hand, both of them have thier appeals, older people tend to have a bit of experience, some more interesting things to talk about, are a bit more settled down and possibly financially stable.
the younger counterparts are usually stuck on school/college level/dorm interaction when tends to be immature by nature, but you can't deny the attraction of youth.
