right wing religious wish list

how many of these can mr. gw actually pass in these next four years? I see a couple that look really likely.

1. Abolish and criminalize abortion

2. Establish Creationism in all public schools

3. Declare Christmas a “True Christian Holiday”

4. Base American law on the Ten Commandments, not the Secular Constitution
5. Make any kind of homosexual activity a criminal offense

6. Censor any and all media material they deem to be pornographic or offensive
7. Send missionaries to Iraq and other occupied countries to Christianize them…by force

8. Declare a Christian Crusade as quickly as possible with the aim of converting the world.

9. Work with Israel to demolish the Arab mosques and rebuild the Temple of Solomon

10. Declare Sunday as Christ’s Day and shut all retail businesses down for that day

11. Institute the Tithe in the United States where 10% of the worker’s checks go to Jesus (them)

12. Ban forever any kind of Satanic Rock and Roll and make it punishable to air or play it

13. Set up a Cabinet post as Religious Coordinator

14. Stop the publication of any and all Harry Potter type Satanic books. Abolish Satanic board games

15. Immediately quarantine any and all AIDS victims as drug abusers and rampant queers

16. Abolish all secular media programs on Sunday and Christmas and replace with religious ones

17. Require heavy prison sentences for any and all drug abuse.

18. Reestablish old sedition laws to prevent displays of anti-Government sentiment anywhere

other than the obvious ones I really doubt even Bush is capable of crushing Harry Potter.

Flame bait.

Seriously I could make a list of liberals wanting to have every kid pregnant by age 11 and get an abortion faster than ordering fast food... but that wouldnt follow the rules.

Prediction of thread closure within in 2 hours

As a Christian who is republican I'll bite.

1. Yes. I would leave Abortion for cases of emergency and health of the mother, which only accounts for 1% of total abortions.

2. Nope. Evolution works, you even have religious icons like the pope coming out and saying as much.

3. The status quo works. Christmas recognizes the birth of Joshua Ben-Josef(correct) aka Jesus, great guy, one of histories most important and relevant figures.

4. Actually I rather like the constitution. There are about 7 legitimate commandments, but the other 3 such as adultery and idolatry and such have no place, as a Christian I respect other peoples beliefs. The paths are many, the destination is the same.

5. Nope. I'm all for civil unions, the issue as a whole is only about semantics. As a Christian it is not really my place to judge anyone else, as the scripture states Judgement is reserved for god alone.

6. I actually like porn. Chances are I will wank it within the next 24 hours to it.

7. Is this one serious?

8. Again, is this serious?

9. As quoted in the holy Simpsons... "Your honor, I would like to refer to the case of Finders versus keepers".

10. Actually no, I am rather upset at the fact that most shit closes down at 8 & 9 pm.

11. Nope.

12. I wouldn't ban it, just hope that most people realize that this genre of music is really really shitty.

13. Again I like the current system.

14. I used to play magic cards, I must be going to hell.

15. A little to late for this

16. I believed in Santa as a pup, must mean I'm going to hell. Hell my fundie family used to buy me gifts and write Santa's name, they are probably in the same boat as me.

17. I smoke pot habitually, and I'm pretty sure my nightly consumption of alcohol isn't any better.

18. Yes I want you traitorous bastards to die.

I thought Karl Rove was the one doing the fear mongering? Thats a very fear inspiring list, pedro. Too bad only about 1 or 2 issues on it represent what the majority of the religious right want to accomplish.

Don't feed the trolls.

I'm as anti-Bush as anyone, but I cannot find any redeeming value in this thread aside from Ustwo's humorous quip.
