Vice pres Cheney warned Hans Blix

In an interview with Tim Sebastion, Hans Blix stated that Vice President Dick Cheney would discredit him Blix if he did not support the US policy at the time during an official visit to the White House.

I thought it was funny, the Bushistration was so certain of its position upon WMD that they would threaten the most important man in the UN and try to bully him.

The most important man in the UN? Surely that would be Kofi Annan? Hans Blix was "merely" one of many chief weapon inspectors.

(Oh, and just because Hans Blix says something does not mean it's what really happened. It may be true, it may be his interpretation of the event, or perhaps it's a flat out lie. You just don't know...)
