She'd replace Dean as my second choice then. Kucinich to Clinton to Dean.

I'd vote for anybody that just gave me their flat out opinion.

I'm so tired of people pandering to me. If one of them would just say, "you know what? screw it." and told me his or her real opinion on a matter, I think a lot of people would vote for them. At the very least, I'd be able to hold my head a little higher when I go vote.

I may not agree totally with them, but I'd vote for them based solely on their chutzpuh (that's right....I said it...:) )

I agree a lot with some of the candidates, but I find their wishy-washy attitude to be a bit tiresome.

I know it's not popular to tell the truth and voice an original opinion, but at least I'd friggin' respect them a bit more.

Actually, no. As it stands right now, I wouldn't vote for her, because if she entered now it would be nothing more than an opportunistic grab at the Oval Office. She's said 2008 and I expect her to be prepared for that race. Of course, that means that Bush will win again...sigh...

I'd vote for Dean over Hilary, hell I'd vote for Nader over Hilary and I'm a conservative.

If I had to pick between a full fledged commie, or Hilary I'd really have to think about it. I'd most likely pick the commie.

If I were a democrat I would vote for Dean over Hillary. Hillary can not commit to a single thing. She gives popular speaches, then retracts them in quiet. She rides the coattails of her husband. She brags about being a lawyer, but what was her famous case? I mean, if you were a law firm, wouldnt you hire the wife of the govenor just to have conections? What has she done on her own that merits making her president?
She ran against a no name for NY senate, she botched the health care comission, after she and all her friends got paid. The only thing she did was get a 2000% profit on a shakey land deal.

While I have a great deal of respect (yes, I said respect) for Senator Clinton, I would not vote for her at this time. I would like to see her serve out her term so that I can get a true feel for her abilities and voting record. The Senator is extremely bright and not as liberal as she is painted and would most likely make a good president. However, I think we have some more experienced people running at this time who would probably do a better job.

No sir, I wouldn't vote for her. No way, no how. I truly believe that the United States would go to hell in a hand basket if she were voted into office. Or any ultra liberal for that matter.

Being conservative myself, I wouldn't vote for a liberal person. I believe that she would team up with Janet Reno, Barbara Lee, Diane Fienstien, and all the other gun grabbers, and together they would ban firearms. After that, I'm sure firearms owners would fight back and it'll be hell in a hand basket.

Of course that's just my opinion. I could be 110% wrong, but then again, the people disagreeing with me could be wrong as well.

As a moderate democrat, I can say that nominating HRC would be a mistake. I wouldn't vote for her in a primary, but she would get my vote if she got on the general election ballot. Honestly, I don't see myself voting for a republican for any national office for the next 10 or 20 years. State level is another matter, but I no longer trust the RNC to do good things for anyone but the wealthy and the RNC itself.

I wonder if it is just democrats (aka primary voters) that are taking part in this poll. The only reason I am curious is because usually TFP polls are pretty reflective of general polls and elections, but this one is way off. Most polls indicate that if Hilary were to run that she would be leading the pack right now and they give her the best chance against Bush.

I don't mean to be stereotypical, but I am from Arkansas, and if HRC got nominated, every blue collar white guy in the country would turn out to vote against her. She just has soooo much baggage coming in.

Mybe more TFP's arn't as, um, mentally challanged as the rest of the nation. If Hilary WERE to run I'd register as a democrat and vote against her. I can think of no person LESS worthy of the office who has a chance of getting it.

Trickle down economics is what democrats like to call supply side economics, and it works quite nicely.

But its also a moot point, you said she wasn't that liberal, no one who wasn't 'that liberal' would have authored that pile of crap she wanted to foist on the nation in her health care plan :)

To answer the original question - No i would not vote for her. Currently no one has my vote, and if they want it they'll have to work damn hard. Currently I'm simply not impressed.

Not this coming election. She needs to develop her political skills in the Senate. I think she's a bright woman but she's not ready for the presidency.

In the primaries I probably won't vote, but when it comes time to choose my next commander in chief i sure as hell will work my tail off to keep the G.O.P. from warmongering and catering to their special interest friends. A woman president would be a nice step forward for our country (although its nothing special, there have been many female PM's in previous years).

I'd vote for her just to get Bill back in the White House.
SSE doesn't work, If you give more money to rich people, they don't spend more than they would have. A tax break isn't going to convince a millionare to buy a new car, he would have bought it anyway. If you give the poor and middle class more money, they will definitly spend it. Giving $100 to 10 lower class people will buy a bigger number of goods than giving $1000 to a person who is already rich.
