Disturbing Forward
 

I got this email from a friend of mine who I am not very close to (we graduated the same year, so we have this MSN "group" and he got my email).

He's not the smartest guy on earth, so I'm not surprised that he forwarded something like this to me. I would've replied to him, but I dont think he still would understand.

I'm also surprised @ the # of forwards that this email had before it reached me.

I dont think this person would understand my arguement. He's not the smartest cookie in the box and he's not very informed about these things either (i bet he believes all those things listed)

While I appreciate the desire to avoid being dragged down into an argument with a stupid person, maybe you ought. The argument should consist of "THIS attack was perpetrated by X, not a muslim. This one was perpetrated by Y, not a muslim. Further, the Arabic language is not solely used by muslims. Protesting this stamp is akin to protesting an English language stamp with the theory that the Unabomber and the KKK and so forth speak English."
If he can't get it, you throw up your hands, but you might want to take a swing. Fight the good fight!
