Absolutely stunning! I think Fall is now my favorite season.

near Grant, CO
Here are a few pictures from our cabin just west of Grant, Colorado. These were taken about two weeks ago.
A lot of the aspens have lost their leaves/color but there are still plenty to see. I rode up near Nederland on 72 and then went south on the peak to peak highway for a while a few days ago and it was still quite beautiful. |

I haven't shot much for colors this year because I still hadn't replaced a lens I dropped a few months ago. Finding the lens I want in stock been a huge pain. Bit of a challenge to try to shoot and stitch landscapes with an 80-200mm. As such, these aren't the greatest, but its what I got shooting at 80mm+. Suprisingly got a few decent panos... but you guys would kill me if I uploaded them. They are kinda huge, even resized. |

Love that last one, Stan. What a beautiful scene!
skibum, Those are nice & very fall-ish. Beautiful place! What lens did you drop that you're missing so much? Just curious... I'm like all kinds of new to dSLR & lenses etc, so yeah, quite interested nowadays in what people prefer to shoot with.

So I decided to step up to something better optically. I just ordered a Sigma 10-20mm, which gets good reviews. I wanted the Tokina 12-24mm because I hear great things about it, but everywhere is backordered, and I didn't want to spend 1000 dollars for the Nikkor 12-24. lol. And then for the mid range I will probably get a 50mm 1.8 prime, as its a cheap and amazing lens. |

*Sigh* One good thing about Ohio is there is no shortage of fabulous colors. We have trees starting to lose leaves here.

Great shots! It really makes me miss autumn in Michigan. Northern Michigan has some of the most beautiful fall foliage there is to be seen. Sadly, central Arizona does not, lol. Thanks for the taste of autumn!

Holy crap, skibum... that second pic on Post #21 is stunning. I have GOT to get out to Colorado soon!
Leaves are a-changin' here in central PA... they started late last year, and early this year. I just want them to hang on for 2 more weeks, for our wedding!
