Chicago's Downtown North Shore at night.
This is my first picture post here, hope you all enjoy it! I took this picture last weekend on a trip to Chicago, it is of the shoreline north of the navy pier. Any comments or ideas are welcome!
Thanks -Sky |

I ride my bike there on the lake shore path on a daily basis. I love this city. And you got a good shot of it, too.

great night shots, I've never been to the windy city. I think your first shot could benefit a bit from cropping the blurry ground out, but the light effects are nifty.

The first shot can be used as a pc background, assuming you use the upper right dark area with (up to you) some transparency effect.
Both pics are definitely awe inspiring.

Here is a building that a friend called "The Watertower", though it doesn't look much like a water tower to me.
This picture is from a bridge on Michigan Ave. looking up the river. Here is a picture, taken in Millennium park. Last edited by blindsider; 11-12-2004 at 11:42 PM.. |

That is, in fact, the watertower. It and a relatively nearby firehouse are the only two buildings to have survived the Chicago Fire.
Awesome shots you've got here

More great photos, blindsider. You probably got one of the last photos of the Sun-Times building before demolition began. Donald Trump is tearing it down to build his own monolith on the site.
