Another Urban Exploration Adventure
I spend another visit to the abandoned railway property.
(click the Pics for the larger version at flickr.) Parts of the roof are collapsed: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2532/...df57ccb25a.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2475/...807748665f.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2479/...88e0e41c92.jpg The Floor is almost completly covered with moss and some fern http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2491/...d962e7c9f5.jpg Later I visited an old railway cargo complex, unused for a long time now the complex has been sheduled for demolishion multiple times, but it was always postponed http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2460/...5590fc7fff.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2566/...30d12c889a.jpg The roof was partially collapsed, letting the rain in. The vegetation has started to reconquer these halls http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3487/...7e14103543.jpg The whole complex is heavily decorated with graffiti http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3516/...437c16241e.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2519/...4c48c93993.jpg There were some tunnels underneath the complex which I could not explore due to the lack of a flashlight http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2671/...98e6e7f28d.jpg another industrial comlex I visited was this old sintering complex. Unused since the mid 90ies, most of the larger machines have been removed (probably sold to China ... ) http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2598/...82e574732d.jpg This is the view down the ramp which you can see on the righ side on the pic above http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2653/...bf8f354f30.jpg The removal of the machines left some rather big holes in the floor. A wrong step can result in a 30 feet fall. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3515/...d5b2f76dc8.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2482/...6a16ab9094.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3477/...d5d407ef69.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3462/...de8c63d7fb.jpg All that exploring has made me quite tired :) http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2499/...e9268db9c8.jpg |

I love the light contrast on #4... I'm assuming it's just a patch of natural light. Good Stuff!!

thanks :)
those are from my 2nd, 3rd and 4th film, never touched a SLR camera before. I'm very happy how nice those pics have come out. |
I really like the infinity perspective and colors and aging in #12. Would make a great CD cover.
Reminds me, as a kid, I used to use a ruler and make similar infinity lines and blocks of color on a blank piece of paper... |
