My last weekend's walk
I started in my mother's garden out front of the house. Maybe genuinegirly and some of the other botany buffs can help me out with what these are.
i'm good with the milkweed. where our ancient kitties are buried i loved these little matching weeds and we walked around the neighborhood awhile. found Dr. Seuss' cactus-palm... and a flame vine... which I love. the street where I grew up. yes, they're really that tall... all of them. pretty something... only a little hospice-appropriate. a neighbor's mushroom collection in her garden and back home again. there are a ton more, but these are my favorites. i hate how they lose something when uploaded to photobucket. and it was a lot colder than it looked. but a gorgeous day in sarasota.

I missed noodle's walking story with pictures. nice!
I especially like the one with the white pot. shadow in the background works well. and I love those kinds of spindly palm trees... ---------- Post added at 09:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:14 PM ---------- and the first one is a succulent...a lot of succulents don't have common names...they're just called succulents, but I think these succulents would qualify as a rosette variety...I'm no authority, though
