soon after, Amber gave birth to a litter of kittens. Here's the eldest, named Tilly. we originally gave her to our neighbors, who moved out and abandoned her. She's a very sweet cat and always comes running to say hi and "feed me!" when i visit.
here she is being coy |

this is the second eldest, the older boy. the guys were rambunctious, and we gave them both away before we could name them and get attached (about 4 months).

the runt of the litter, Patti (not sure if that's how her name is spelled, my dad took it from some ballet reference). Now she's almost bigger than her mother (both seem to have ballooned into monstrous felines rivalling the late Charlie for the biggest kitties on the block)

My aunt's old sheephound Sheeba. She's almost 14 now, almost blind and diabetic, but still keeps up with my aunt's new yellow lab, Beauregard :)
that's all for now, keep those pictures coming! :D |
it took me so long to get the face oriented in that last picture, kind of like a puzzle

bDa, that picture of patti is incredible... props to the photographer.
This is the picture of my most recent and recently deceases member, Rio. http://numist.net/images/gallery/rio.jpg Yes, my room was messy too... but the right side which she would jump up from was clean for that very purpose. |
thanks, I took all of those pictures... My dad works long days and so I spent almost the whole 3 or 4 months with the kittens, taking care of and playing with them. my dad thanked me for it, cause they turned out very well adjusted and comfortable around humans, which is more than I can say for the numerous feral cats that populate his neighborhood :)

I don't know if there is a post of this yet but thought it could be interesting since we all have our favorite pet or pets
|
What a beautiful cocker! What's it's name?
We used to have a cocker spaniel.... Sandy. She was such a great dog. Her face was just a bit darker than your dogs. How can you not fall in love with those eyes? |
There is a thread on postings of your pets here.
Please do a search if you think that the topic was already covered. |
already posted this once before somewhere around here, but what the hell
http://www.torlian.com/mypics/merryann_21_may_1983.jpg taken in may of '83 around five months old, and she died in '95. |
Not really my pet, but I wish it were! =D

carry on, animal lovers! :) |
this is a rescued old doggie that unfortunately only got to live with us 28 months before he developed cancer.
the time we did get to spend together was the best though. this dog was the sweetest happiest old guy & he was so grateful to finally be a spoiled rotten INDOOR pooch. :D you can't tell by this picture, but he was in a lot of pain; however, he did seem to enjoy that last walk before his final trip to the vet... *tears well up* he walked around the beach that day will those cheap kiddie sunglasses. not sure they really helped with any UV protection, but he didn't mind them one bit. he did though thoroughly enjoy the attention that the sunglasses brought his way from other folks on the beach. great pictures & awesome pets everyone. *hugs thread* |

yesterday was my baby's 2nd birthday.
for reference here's a pic of him when he was 2 or 3 months old. (my memory is shot & my documentation is worse ;)) and here he is a couple days ago *sigh* how time flies.... but on the upside, he's grown from a hellacious little havoc wrecking puppy into an itelligent obedient sweet dog. :) |
