Elphaba 02-04-2008 08:03 PM

PJ, there must be some mistake. Your "Larry" doesn't look anything like my sister's cat "Larry", or my stepdaughter's car named "Larry". Aren't there naming rules or something about the use of Prophet Larry's name?

Better come up with a good one, Bud, 'cuz I think something blasphemous is happening here. :orly:

not to worry Elphaba, this is the only Prophet named Larry that I had in mind:

My little old man (Mr. Misty) I had to put down in December 2006. I miss him terribly, he was my best friend since I was 9 years old.

There are a few more, but I'm limiting myself. :)

we have one.

he's full of piss and vinegar..........

thanks for the shots.........horses are too cool.

PonyPotato 02-17-2008 07:01 PM

No, that little guy is not an Arabian. He was a Pony of the Americas.. leapord appaloosa pattern on his bum during the summer. :) He was a stubborn little man.. but definitely the best pony a little girl could ask for. He would do anything for me, including crossing scary rivers and into creepy barns.

Here are some pictures of my cat Kitsumi. She already had the name when I got her. I think it means evil cat with no tail.

Ranger Joe, what is it with your family and amazing blue eyes? Now that's the first blue-eyed cat I have ever seen.
Incredibly cute!

RangerJoe 04-26-2008 10:01 PM

She is a gorgeous cat! I think she has some persian in her? Which gives her the blue eyes... maybe?

She's a pain in the ass, though. The first cat I've ever had that never got tired of being pet.

lotsofmagnets 04-28-2008 09:36 AM

...and i present our family´s 3 dogs who´s names i refuse to use so from furthest to closest it´s the big dog, middle dog (who grew bigger than the big dog) and the tiny dog.

devilcat

genuinegirly 04-28-2008 06:27 PM

lotsofmagnets, those look like a handful, and a lot of fun. Dogs are great.
Quite the devil, PaddyJoe. I like how red light looks against a blackish cat.

lotsofmagnets 04-29-2008 01:43 PM

they are an absolute handful. add to that one cat, about 6 chickens, one duck and between 4 & 8 magpies and my parents´ household is pretty busy. we also have geese occasionally driop by and there are a couple of koalas that hang around as well. no kangaroos but we´ve seen a few wallabies. i want to bring my paretns o/s in the coming year but who´s going to maintain the hoard?

genuinegirly 04-29-2008 01:54 PM

Oh my goodness!!! I've never heard of so many adorable and non-standard pets in one place.

lotsofmagnets 04-29-2008 07:05 PM

it´s something that happened over time. it all seemed like a good idea at the time then suddenly we have more animals than yard space. i forgot about the pond so add a few goldfish and various frogs as well :s i´m starting to think about mebe getting me either a pet rat or bird here in iceland but i would only get either animal if i didn´t need to cage it. my mum has instilled in me a strong opinion of containing animals (the chickens and duck are the only animals with a fence around them for their own safety and everyday, under supervision they are allowed into the yard for a few hours even though the coop is very large.)

lotsofmagnets 05-04-2008 06:40 AM

just found a rare picture of our cat. 16 years old and still looks like a kitten. notice how much the magpie and the cat care about each other. whn the magpie wanted cat food the cat was more tha happy so share...

He just passed away a couple of weeks ago, but he was one of the best people you could ever have the privilege to know.
RIP Ozzy

This is Dylan (not a female as we had originally thought)

http://lh4.ggpht.com/Jewels.R/SDNg5w...JPG?imgmax=640

and this is Luna.

http://lh3.ggpht.com/Jewels.R/SDYKFq...JPG?imgmax=640

We figure they're either 5 or 6 weeks old this week. Adorable as can be, spoiled horribly already by my two teen daughters.

abaya 05-27-2008 08:01 AM

Ohhhhhh yes, I love all these pets. :) Yet another reason for ktspktsp and I to move back to the US... so we can have proper animals around the house!

Today I found our dog. His name is Simba and he is awesome. I feel like I found a lost prince. He's so well behaved (he even knows 'sit,' 'shake' and 'lay down,' lol) and he's a fluffy hugabee, too. He luxuriates in affection.
Pictures aren't that great - I haven't wanted to harass him too much with the camera. I suspect he will be a great model for me, though.

But here is Simba, the little bear that now lives in our house. :hearts:

I am so in love with our new dog...took him to the dog park on Friday which is quickly becoming one of my favorite places. Didn't get many interesting photographs, but we are going back to today and I'm going to try some different things. But I got a few pictures of Simba. Our manbear.

he'll never admit it, but he liked this...

That last picture of Simba is fantastic, mixedmedia.
Simba appears to be an exceptionally wonderful dog.

My Prince boy always is deep in thought,
he is thinking thinking thinking all the time.
You should see the games he makes up,
he will arrange his bones and toys and then talk to them,
and he makes his toys interact with each other.
I have some video of his playtime with his friends...it's charming.
