Fast Food
 

Whenever I eat out, I get the craving to do it everyday. But once I stop for a couple of days the craving is gone. I find this very true when I eat at McDonald's. Does anybody think that perhaps they drug the food with a addictive substance?

I think they lace it with Laxatives...That's what I think.

I have a job working fast food, and I can assure you that if we did have drugs back there we wouldn't be putting them in the food. ;)

forgotten_dream is right. flesh is not. stldickie and pocon1 both have good arguements. IC3 is not imagining things. Too often fast food is niether.

You know it's crossed my mind about mcdonalds drugging their food, because no matter how full I am, even if I feel like eating nothing else, I could always eat a big mac :/ And this is someone who hates everything McDonald's stands for.

Sugar and grease will bring you back everytime...

I find the opposite is true with KFC. At least the ones that still have the lucnh buffets. Back in college, my roomate and I would go in starving,, He was a big guy, I am average size, but we both could eat a LOT. Anyway, we'd go in to get more than our moneys worth, pay for the buffet, have one trip, and then be inexplicably stuffed. I think they put a chemical in which makes you instantly full, or the hormone that makes you not feel hungry anymore. In any case, it happened every time we ate there. Went in as ravenous dogs, came out feeling like an overstuffed pillow.

It's just the good "Mmm...fries and dead cow feeling", that feeling is a good feeling, maybe it activates the Neandertal in us? Just an idea.

I don't know about fast food being made with drugs. Seems unreasonable to me. If there is a type of food made out of drugs, it's Thai food. And I've never been brave enough to try 'fast' Thai food.

Have you seen So I married an ax murderer? I think there is a valid point in that movie.

I remember reading about how food companies know just what ingredients will bring a customer back subconciously. They also constantly make minor changes to the flavor so the customer doesn't get bored and go to a competitor. True or not, I don't know.

I heard a story about this McDonalds that cleaned out their soft drink dispensers once a year or so and find maggots in there o_O
I'm in the middle of Fast Food Nation; I highly recommend it to everyone.

I'm with the rest: its a diet that you are used to. Part of changing your diet is to break the trend of fast food and getting used to low fat meals. Think of it this way: you can eat lots more food when there is less fat.

...either that, or Ronald is peeing in the fry grease....

Psivage, I crave it sometimes...not after I've had it, though. Usually after I have one meal of fast food, I'm set for awhile.

Subs...now those are something I crave and crave. Gotta love Publix.

You can always eat more fries, or one more cheeseburger. But that's just because it tastes so good. Drugs or not, I'm goin back for more.

the french fries have a special salt on them that makes you crave more thats why they are so good taco bell has kinda the same thing going on their chips
