There is no such thing as recycling!
I have an idea that I can't seem to shake, what if by way of a government conspiracy launched many years ago - - - intended to quiet earth/environmental activists....someone invented the idea of recycling products like paper, plastic, glass, aluminum....whatever.
But here's the catch, there is no such process and the technology to do such a thing simply does not exist...let's just imagine for a moment that the environmental types were getting out of control and threatening to topple democracy unless something changed...soon! So the government figures out the most absurd thing(but something that these people would want to here), tells it to them and sells it to the public at large, and WHAM everyone believes it!!! I mean they fall for it hook, line and sinker! What if???? Your thoughts....

In all seriousness, MOST of the recycling is done by private companies, NOT the government. Too many companies make all their profit from reselling recycled materials. Not to mention that it is cheaper overall to recycle materials such as aluminum and paper, that to have it manufactured from raw materials.

I don't buy it for recycling but what about Kyoto.
Is Kyoto just a conspiracy that will not really do much in the end but quell the environmentalists?

My thoughts? Where the hell do people come up with this stuff. 1) if it was to quiet environmentalists, that sure hasn't worked. 2) Watch Dirty Jobs on the discovery channel. Seems like every 3rd episode he's in a recycling plant showing you how they recycle stuff. |

what if?
What if you walked down to your nearest recycling plant and asked for a tour? It's not hard to do and will ease your worries once you see the recycling process

"Expensive?" HA! .... it's cheaper if anything, the concept is simple: 1. recycling curb-sorter truck pulls up to your curb 2. the driver makes a big show of sorting your glass, metal, paper and plastic into the 4 different sections 3.funky looking truck drops its load in the same landfill as the regular garbage truck Quote:
