I have an idea that I can't seem to shake, what if by way of a government conspiracy launched many years ago - - - intended to quiet earth/environmental activists....someone invented the idea of recycling products like paper, plastic, glass, aluminum....whatever.
But here's the catch, there is no such process and the technology to do such a thing simply does not exist...let's just imagine for a moment that the environmental types were getting out of control and threatening to topple democracy unless something changed...soon! So the government figures out the most absurd thing(but something that these people would want to here), tells it to them and sells it to the public at large, and WHAM everyone believes it!!! I mean they fall for it hook, line and sinker!
