White Fluffy Clouds

White Fluffy Clouds is a book of art, poetry, and random thoughts by the lead singer of Incubus, Brandon Boyd. I ordered it a few weeks ago, but sadly it hasn't arrived yet. Has anyone read this? I'm particularly interested in the poetry, as I bought it for a college poetry course in which we have to pick a poet to learn about. The proffesor isn't allowing lyrics to count as poetry so I'm pretty desperate for it to arrive. Anyway, I'd love to hear some of your thoughts on this book.

For a minute there I thought you meant the track "Little Fluffy Clouds" from the album "The The Orb's Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld". - http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...28640?v=glance

This is a classic of gargantuan proportions.

Incubus sound like a heavy metal band and, as such, I doubt I should like their music. Classic AC/DC is about as hard as I get.

Give Incubus a taste, they may just surprise you. And though they do some heavier rock in some tracks, they're not one of your typical heavy metal bands that seem to have testosterone levels at 110% ALL the time.

And about the book, I've been meaning to get my hands on it as well. I only know of two people who have gotten it, and both love it. Thanks for the reminder, I may finally get around to getting it now.

Their album Morning View was actually pretty mellow for the most part. I don't like it as much as I used to, but there's some cool tunes on there. If you're one to sample, I recommend "Are You In", "Echo", and "Wish You Were Here" (not a Floyd cover).

I agree with sgn43, deffinatly give Incubus a listen, they're not heavy metal at all.

they're not metal at all.. say that at the wrong concert and things could end up ugly

they are pretty decent I guess. Not aggressive enough for me. The older stuff is good though. I would probably give the book a read though. It sounds a tad interesting.
