Spin's Top40 of 2004
Just wondering if anyone has seen the list, I saw the bottom five or whatever they allow at their site for free. I don't really hold their opinions in very high esteem but I'd like to see the list just for chuckles, if anyone has a subscription or has seen the list online, it would be great if you could share it with us.

If that's the Spin top 20, I'm happy that Ted Leo made it. But the only other two I've heard there (#12 and #8) weren't as good as Shake the Sheets. Rogue Wave, Mason Jennings, and Sondre Lerche should be on there as well.

I listened to the Fiery Furnaces' Blueberry Boat once so far...and my first impression is that there may be a good deal of quality in it, but it's far too disjoint and long-winded to be deserving of the praise it's gotten.
But maybe I just need to listen to it more. It did seem to me like it'd be a grower.
