My Drumset

Just about to do some updating on my kit again... (blow my load on some new stuff, and then find myself to be poor afterwards.) ... and I thought I'd share some before and after photos. This is how my kit is now, and once I buy some new stuff, I'll take some new pictures. Apologies for the poor webcam quality in advance.

This one isn't mine, but I am getting the same thing shortly so...

This crash is mine, and yes ZXT is a pile of shit, but hell, it was part of the starter pack, I sold all the other ZXT's except this one. Besides, it makes noise doesnt it?

Soon will be getting a set of DW 4000 or 5000 double pedals by selling my DW 5000 and 7000 single pedals.

Yeah, it's metal. Yeah, it's a peice of shit. Yeah, I'm getting a maple piccolo snare to replace it.

Additional floor tom on my left side too. That's a beast.

I use all Remo heads, and pretty soon will be switching to all Evans heads, and not just because thats my name. Snare: Coated Diplomat Top, Diplomat bottom. Toms: Powerstroke 3's and Weatherking Pinstripes. Bass: Powerstroke 3.

For sticks I use always Vic Firth except for the Hot Rods/Rutes whatever you want to call them. I use the Pro-Mark Hot Rods because the Vic Firth Rutes REALLY blow. For jazz stuff, I use Dave Weckl signatures, (the regular ones not the evo's) because I like the small tip, light sound. I have Vic Firth jazz brushes. For any other kind of playing I use the Buddy Rich signatures from Vic Firth. I like the weight of the Rich-es and the taper from the connected tip.

This is why these pictures are so shitty. I had to drag my desktop all the way out here!

and next time you want to take some pictures....just tell me and I'll bring over my digital camera. Alot easier than moving your desktop across the house

Looks good to me. I am very fond of the zildjin master series and thier kustom's. The DW 5000 is also very nice. as for the actual set it appears nice and ive heard good things about it ive never actualy heard or played one. But yeah defiently change the snare like you were planning on doing.... not too much to say looks like you've got it all thought out. Happy drumming
