Reise Reise -- Rammstein

So, what do you all think of this new album. The Rammstein themselves proclaim that this album is different than all of their previous albums, calling it to be more "organic" and natural and using less of computers.
I personally think, that the album has great hits like Mein Teil and Amerika and many other, but still could not compete with Mutter, with their Sonne and Ich Will. So just write what you thought about the albums here, considering if there are any Rammstein fans out here.
P.S. Also, what did you think of Ohne Dich video.

They do try a few different sounds, but the album is still undeniably Rammstein. I happen to think Los is one of the most awesome songs I've ever heard. Dalai Lama, Keine Lust, and Moskau are my other favorites. Amerika is ok, but the chorus makes me think of The Sounds' "Living in Amerca," so that's kind of throwing me a bit.

At the moment, I kind of think I like Reise, Reise more than Mutter.

I've got pretty much all of Rammstein's albums, starting with Herzeleid, and from the moment I popped in Reise Reise, I immediately noticed they had that Mutter-ish orchestral feeling going on again. I love that.

I can only say one thing - I'm glad I don't understand the German lyrics. I can understand Russian though, and the Russian supporting lyrics in Moskau are pretty damn stupid

Anyway, I'll let that issue slide. Reise Reise is now one of my favorite Rammstein albums.

Yes, I love that orchestral feeling too, especially when mixed with good background choirs.
I also agree with your point in enjoying the music more, if you can't understand German lyrics. It makes listener really focus on the music (the vocals become another musical instrument). I really do enjoy this album
: pops in the album and listens to it :

I really like the sound, its very different from what I usually listen too.

With exception to the last three songs, I practically liked the whole album.

I thought the album was pretty good. All of their albums have managed to be unique sounding but still has that rammstein feel. Few artists these days can pull that off

I love it. I'm another one that likes the "orchestral feel" combined with the gutteral German vocals , industrial beats, and hard and heavy guitars. With that being said, I also like it when they turn things down a notch, the mellow Ohne Dich is one of my favorite songs on the new album.

Yea, even though I don't think Herzeleid was their greatest album, it was most different as it had more rough guitars less of their orchestral feel. Der Meister and Asche zu Asche are one of their best works from that album.
