HIM
Anyone heard this band?
They are fkn AMAZING!!! Sort of Softish Metal (not that heavy), sort a goth rock, very very cool. I discovered these guys watching the CKY video so i bought 2 of their ablums. In just listening to those two cd's they would be one of my fav bands already. You have to check these guys out. By the way, they're from Finland. They'll be big soon in the US i'd imagine. |

Yep, I've recently gotten hooked on HIM. Picked up pretty much all their albums (for about $2 a pop ) on my trip to Russia. Now I'm listening the hell out of them.
My favorite album at this point has to be Love Metal. Great band.

I picked up their best of album on Itunes the other day.. "and love said no..." was the name of it. I took a little while to warm up to it, but now, it's in regular rotation on the Ipod now.
Love metal. It's pretty cool. but I agree with SATS, in that "Your sweet 666" is on of their better tracks. But they all have good parts too. I'm gonna have to check out more of their other stuff.

it's funny these guys have been flying under the radar for most people for quite some time now but you always saw the "heartagram" logo around, now (thanks to Bam) they are gaining mainstream acceptance. it is good to see as i had their first album (greatest love songs 666) about 3 years a go and i have been hooked ever since.
for thoes of you who are wondering HIM stands for "His Infernal Majesty" they just use HIM because the other sounds too much like a death metal band. |

i saw them live 2 years ago,and it was great.i think their last album is their best, especially the song "the path".i have been listening to them a long time regularly, but at the moment i don't listen to them regularly.
by the way:if you like the style of him,you should listen to "the 69 eyes"...you'll like it! |

I don't think their music is that bad, I just can't stand to listen to it. It's a little too boring for me. I prefer anything gothenburg over HIM. Still a talented band though. One thing i dont get is that, for some strange reason, I like a band called Lullacry. I dunno if anyones heard of them, but the idea's quite similar from what ive heard of either.

Bam Margera of Viva La Bam on MTV is a huge fan of HIM. Personally, I think they're a bit softish for my tastes, I much prefer Apocalyptica as the Finnish ambassadors (I'm going to see them in March in NY, everyone should support them), but I think Vile is a pretty good singer, we share voice ranges so that's pretty cool. Have fun with them

I'm a huge HIM fan myself, also. Think they are a great band. As far as my favorite album goes. . . thats between 'Love Metal' and 'Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights'. I like those two albums the most. And, if any of you haven't geard it already, you should check out their cover of 'Rebel Yell' by Billy Idol. In my opinion, I like all the covers that they have done better than the originals.
