Greatest Rock Songs of All Time
What would you say is the greatest rock song of all time? Just list 1 song, and no repeats. We'll make a list of what songs we consider great. I want to make a CD so in the end we can narrow it down to the 20 greatest rock songs of all time.
I'll start: Black Dog - Led Zeppelin |

Duplicate bands I think are allowed, duplicate songs are not allowed... so you should be able to pick more than one song by a band... Right?

My response is, "I like to put forks in an eletrical socket, just LOVE that feeling, can't ever get enough of it, so will you let me put this copper fork in that electric socket?" Joe Cocker - With a Little Help From My Friends.
Or Procol Harum - A Whiter Shade of Pale. If you don't agree with me on song two, may Douglas Adams rise from his grave and kill you all.

Blue Oyster Cult - (Don't Fear) The Reaper
(Even if it really could use more cowbell) And seconds to the following - 1. Stairway to Heaven, 2. Revolution, 3. Layla, 4. Baba O'Reilly, 5. Roadhouse Blues, 6. Thunder Road, 7. Bohemian Rhapsody. 8. Comfortably Numb. Each of these is most definitely in the top 100 of all time, probably in the top 20. That's half your disc right there.

Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)
This is a tough one. There are a ton of really good songs out there... quite a few of my favorites have already been mentioned. A few of my favorites are probably more considered blues than rock. That said - I'm going to go ahead and say that Hendrix's "Voodoo Chile" is the best rock song of all time not already mentioned.
