Greatest Rock Songs of All Time

What would you say is the greatest rock song of all time? Just list 1 song, and no repeats. We'll make a list of what songs we consider great. I want to make a CD so in the end we can narrow it down to the 20 greatest rock songs of all time.

I'll start:

Black Dog - Led Zeppelin

I would say "Stairway to Heaven" (such a great song that it is now a cliche) but Led Zeppelin was already mentioned. If you don't want duplicates of bands, how about...

Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone."

Duplicate bands I think are allowed, duplicate songs are not allowed... so you should be able to pick more than one song by a band... Right?

(Even if it really could use more cowbell)

And seconds to the following - 1. Stairway to Heaven, 2. Revolution, 3. Layla, 4. Baba O'Reilly, 5. Roadhouse Blues, 6. Thunder Road, 7. Bohemian Rhapsody. 8. Comfortably Numb. Each of these is most definitely in the top 100 of all time, probably in the top 20. That's half your disc right there.

Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)

This is a tough one.

There are a ton of really good songs out there... quite a few of my favorites have already been mentioned. A few of my favorites are probably more considered blues than rock.

That said - I'm going to go ahead and say that Hendrix's "Voodoo Chile" is the best rock song of all time not already mentioned.
